What Is The MazzeiŽ Venturi Injector?

The MazzeiŽ Venturi Injector is a high efficiency, differential pressure injector. A pressure difference between the inlet and outlet ports of the injector creates a vacuum inside the injector body, which initiates suction through the suction port.

How Does The MazzeiŽ Venturi Injector Work?

When a pressurized operating (motive) fluid enters the injector inlet, it is constricted toward the injection chamber and changes into a high velocity jet stream. The increase in velocity through the injection chamber results in a decrease in pressure, thereby enabling an additive material to be drawn through the suction port and entrained into the motive stream. As the jet stream is diffused toward the injector outlet it's velocity is reduced and it is reconverted into pressure energy (but at a pressure lower than injector inlet pressure).
The MazzeiŽ Venturi Injector is extremely efficient. It operates over a wide range of pressures and requires only a minimal pressure differential between inlet and outlet sides to initiate a vacuum for the suction of either gas (i.e.-Ozone) or liquid.
